Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Internal Controls Specialist, you will engage in a variety of critical tasks that define the function of internal controls within our organization.
- Planning and Execution: You will oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of all activities related to the Internal Control Lifecycle, particularly focusing on the SOX Scoping Process.
- Risk Assessment Oversight: Monitor, analyze, and report on the annual Risk Assessments conducted across corporate functions.
- Control Performance Monitoring: Supervise the utilization of Manual Control Performance functionalities within corporate functions.
- SOX Deficiency Analysis: Analyze and consolidate SOX weaknesses and prepare a comprehensive report on SOX Deficiencies for the entire organization.
- Internal Control Reporting: Consolidate regional Internal Control Reports and create a corporate-level Internal Control Report for Senior Management.
- Certification Process Support: Assist in the execution of the certification process at the corporate level.
- ELC-Q Process Support: Provide support for the annual ELC-Q process at the corporate level.
- Control Documentation Updates: Update control descriptions and risks within the SAP GRC System.
Project-Driven Responsibilities:
- Control Automation Initiatives: Drive and coordinate efforts to automate controls and enhance existing control reports, including the Control Automation Dashboard.
- IKS Dashboard Development: Build and enhance IKS dashboards using Excel VBA to improve the management of internal controls at the corporate level.
- Country Clustering Analysis: Conduct country clustering to determine the significance of the control system.
- IKS Manual Improvement: Collaborate on the enhancement of the IKS manual as necessary.
- IKS Intranet Administration: Manage and update the central IKS intranet site, including documentation.
- Advisory Role: Serve as a valuable advisor on compliance with corporate guidelines regarding Internal Control Lifecycle activities.
- Continuous Improvement Support: Assist in the development and ongoing enhancement of the Internal Control Lifecycle.
- IKS-Related Project Support: Provide support for projects relevant to internal controls.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Communicate effectively across various hierarchical levels and cultures, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
