Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Manager of Software Testing to lead our Software Quality Assurance team within the Research & Development department. In this critical role, you will oversee one of the premier software solutions for microscopy.
Your Responsibilities
- Direct the management of software and system testing (both manual and automated) for microscopy applications with your team of testing specialists.
- Plan and coordinate the operational deployment of resources to ensure the successful execution of the innovation strategy.
- Support and ensure adherence to established development processes and methods, optimizing them to fit local specifics and project requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate your team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Provide technical support to various departments, including Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance, Production, Technical Service, and Product Management.
- Collaborate with software test leaders at other development sites to create synergies, establish joint processes, and share best practices.
Your Profile
- Completed studies in computer science, engineering, or natural sciences.
- Proven leadership experience with a successful track record in personnel development.
- Extensive professional experience in manual software testing and software test automation.
- Strong conceptual and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of systems and applications.
- Proficient in both English and German.
