Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Manager of Software Testing to lead our Software Quality Assurance team within the Research & Development department. This role is pivotal in enhancing the quality of our software solutions for microscopy, which are integral to cutting-edge research globally.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of both manual and automated software and system testing for microscopy applications, guiding a team of testing specialists.
- Plan and coordinate the deployment of resources and capacities to ensure effective implementation of innovative projects.
- Support adherence to established development processes while optimizing them to fit local needs and project specifications.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate your team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Provide technical support to various departments including Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance, Production, Technical Service, and Product Management.
- Collaborate with software test leaders across different development sites to create synergies, establish unified processes, and share best practices.
Your Profile
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or natural sciences.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record in personnel development.
- Extensive experience in manual software testing and test automation.
- Strong conceptual and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of systems and applications.
- Proficiency in both English and German.
