Job Summary

The Regional Alliance Development Manager at SoftServe plays a critical role in bridging the gap between strategic alliances and operational execution. This position requires a strong understanding of foundational enterprise technologies, including cloud, applications, data, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Regional Relationships with Google Cloud: Establish and maintain strong communication channels with the partner's regional and sub-regional field teams, ensuring consistent engagement with key partner stakeholders to foster mutual understanding and collaboration.
  • Partnership Alignment: Align SoftServe's regional activities with SoftServe's global partnership strategies and the partner's strategies, ensuring that both companies at all levels work towards common goals and capitalize on joint opportunities.
  • Driving Business Development and Sales Enablement: Empower SoftServe's business development and sales teams by providing necessary support, resources, and guidance to effectively engage with partners while supporting the sales process.
  • Ensuring Strategic and Communication Alignment: Maintain open and robust communication channels with the partner, facilitating regular discussions on partnership performance, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Leveraging Google Cloud Positioning: Guide SoftServe's go-to-market (GTM) teams in effectively leveraging SoftServe and partner's joint market positioning, utilizing partner strengths and competitive advantages to enhance SoftServe's client value propositions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Technology alliance development, management, or Sales.
  • A robust understanding of foundational enterprise technologies, including cloud, applications, data, and AI.
  • Experience in go-to-market initiatives aligned with GCP is preferred, but experience with other hyperscale cloud or technology providers will also be considered.
  • Candidates with relevant certifications in Google Cloud will be given preferential consideration.
  • Native German speaker or Professional proficiency in German Language.

  • Relationship Building: Strong skills in establishing and maintaining productive and positive relationships with a diverse set of partners and stakeholders.
  • Influence and Persuasion: Persuade others to understand and accept your point of view or action, particularly when it comes to securing partner buy-in and driving sales initiatives.
  • Interpersonal Sensitivity: Demonstrated awareness and consideration for the positions and needs of others, especially in politically charged situations.
  • Consultative Skills: Having a consultative approach to understanding clients/partners pain points, challenges, and goals and ability to present a tailored solution.
  • Active Listening: The capacity to fully concentrate, understand, respond, and then remember what is being said in engagements with partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, MBA is a plus.

Certifications

  • Weighted consideration given to candidates possessing one or more formal certifications for Google Cloud Platform.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 30%, including domestic and international travel, to client and team location.
  • Strong commitment to client success, driving business growth through client partnerships.
