Marine Senior Surveyor

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Marine Senior Surveyor to join its team in Hamburg, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough surveys on classed ships, platforms, or marine structures to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
2. Prepare accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys.
3. Maintain survey files in an organized and up-to-date manner.
4. Provide leadership and guidance to lower-level and less experienced surveyors.
5. Engage with clients to solve problems within the area of expertise.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience working as a Surveyor.
• Understanding of RINA strategic technical positioning in the sector of the marine industry or minimum 7 years' experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society.
• Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, related services and, before assignment, with their future work.
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of RINA Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions, as well as the RINA Employee Safety Policy.
• Ability to understand engineering plans and have a knowledge of shipbuilding practices and ship operations.
