Position Overview

To bolster the growth of our External Audit division, we are seeking a:

Manager of Audit Services – Expert in Consolidated Financial Statement Audits under LuxGAAP and IFRS (m/f)

You will become a vital member of our External Audit team, which consists of over 150 dedicated and culturally diverse professionals. Our client portfolio primarily includes national and international clients, focusing on audits of consolidated financial statements prepared under LuxGAAP and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Audit Partners while managing a diverse client portfolio;
  • Organize and oversee audit engagements efficiently;
  • Lead and manage the audit team during fieldwork;
  • Ensure engagement efficiency aligns with client deadlines and BDO's quality standards;
  • Monitor engagement profitability and ensure adherence to budgets;
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to build trust-based relationships;
  • Proactively address client needs, establishing yourself as a respected business partner;
  • Contribute to the expansion of BDO's client portfolio through initiative and professionalism;
  • Promote BDO's services and represent the firm at external events;
  • Engage in writing articles or conducting seminars, and participate in internal and external working groups;
  • Assist in training audit staff;
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals.

Candidate Requirements

If you meet the following criteria:

  • You hold a Master's degree in Economics, Management, or Business, preferably with a specialization in audit or control;
  • You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in External Audit, particularly in auditing consolidated financial statements;
  • You have a strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS);
  • You are currently qualified or in the process of becoming a certified public accountant in Luxembourg;
  • You are fluent in English and French/German;
  • You demonstrate organization and precision in your work;
  • You possess excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage unexpected situations;
  • You have a genuine talent for training, motivating, and developing team members, measuring your success by that of your team;
