(Senior) Cloud Systems Administrator / DevOps Specialist (all genders)

As a (Senior) Cloud Systems Administrator / DevOps Specialist, you will be integral to the advancement and refinement of our technological offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to establish infrastructure and deployment specifications.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain cloud and hosting environments.
  • Ensure compliance and configuration management through appropriate tools.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems effectively.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across diverse services and functional domains.
  • Create and sustain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of systems and infrastructure.
  • Conduct cost analysis and optimization for infrastructure.

Technical Expertise:

  • UX: Sketch
  • Frontend: Angular
  • Backend: Modern C++, Python
  • Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, SpiceDB
  • Communication: Kafka, Zookeeper, Consul, GraphQL
  • Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Ansible, Terraform
  • CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD
  • Monitoring: Grafana, fluentd, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Sentry
  • Project Management: Jira

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in building and maintaining cloud and hosting infrastructures (Azure/Hosting).
  • Strong knowledge of securing cloud environments and meeting compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in using Docker and/or Kubernetes for service deployment.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and Linux administration.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab.
  • Ability to adapt and utilize a variety of open-source technologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership in work responsibilities.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
