IT Specialist for OpenWeb Systems

We are seeking an IT Specialist for OpenWeb Systems in Munich. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining and enhancing the functionality of Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, and Wildfly. Your skills will ensure the systems' availability, security, and performance. You will work in close collaboration with our external service provider to manage upgrades, patching, and other essential operations. Your capability to automate workflows and engage with various teams on projects is vital for our objectives.
- Operational Management: Ensure the effective operation and upkeep of Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, or Wildfly.
- Coordination: Oversee upgrades, patch management, backup/restore processes, installation, commissioning, and system software support with our external service provider.
- Security and Backup Design: Collaborate with our service provider to design, plan, and implement necessary backup and security protocols.
- Support for Developers: Provide guidance and assistance to application developers and business units utilizing these systems.
- Process Automation: Focus on automating workflows and enhancing system performance and optimization.
- Project Collaboration: Participate in projects in either a coordinating or professional capacity.
- Qualifications: A completed training or degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Experience: Comparable skills and knowledge gained through several years of professional experience.
- Soft Skills: Team spirit, strong communication abilities, assertiveness, and project experience are highly valued.
