IT Specialist for OpenWeb Systems

We are seeking an IT Specialist for OpenWeb Systems. In this role, you will oversee the effective functioning and ongoing enhancement of Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, and Wildfly. Your knowledge will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of these platforms. You will work closely with our external service provider to manage upgrades, patching, and other essential operations. Your skills in process automation and collaboration across various teams will be vital for our achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, or Wildfly systems.
- Manage upgrades, patching, backup/restore, installation, commissioning, and support of system software in partnership with our external service provider.
- Develop and implement necessary backup and security protocols in collaboration with our service provider.
- Offer guidance and support to application developers and business units utilizing these systems.
- Focus on process automation and system performance optimization.
- Participate in projects either in a coordinating or professional capacity.
Qualifications:
- Completed education or degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Relevant skills and knowledge acquired through several years of professional experience.
- Preferred attributes include teamwork, communication skills, assertiveness, and project experience.
