ROLE OVERVIEW

We invite you to be part of our journey at SMS group GmbH in Witten as a

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, you will be tasked with developing Level II control frameworks and database solutions for production oversight and monitoring. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing applications using high-level programming languages for data acquisition, HMI visualization, and control systems
  • Drafting specifications and comprehensive documentation
  • Assisting with commissioning processes both domestically and internationally
  • Executing acceptance testing and providing customer training

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, alongside programming proficiency in Visual Studio, C++, C#, and .NET. Furthermore, we seek candidates with:

  • Expertise in database programming using Oracle PL/SQL and MS Access
  • Knowledge of network communication protocols
  • Experience in frontend development with Google Angular and Angular Material
  • Backend development skills with Django, Microsoft Core, and SignalR
  • Familiarity with OPC Unified Architecture for real-time PLC data
  • Understanding of TLS/SSL and OAuth 2.0 security protocols
  • Proficiency in both Linux and Microsoft operating systems
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a sense of accountability
  • A commitment to ongoing skill development in emerging technologies
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally
