Service Manager Job Description

We're seeking a passionate and innovative Service Manager to join our team at Ssam Korean BBQ. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading our service team, and delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the front-of-house, ensuring seamless service from start to finish.
  • Lead and inspire our service team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Think creatively to solve challenges and improve our service, whether it's a busy night or a unique guest request.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and development to keep the team running smoothly.
  • Engage with our guests, collect feedback, and resolve any issues quickly to ensure every customer leaves happy.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure service is smooth and timely.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining records.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality management or a supervisory role.
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with out-of-the-box solutions for any situation.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable engaging with guests and solving issues.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for Korean cuisine (and maybe even a love for BBQ).
  • Fluent in English, with basic German skills; other languages are a bonus.
