Technical Sales Specialist

With a workforce exceeding 500 dedicated professionals, the organization excels in manufacturing maritime and industrial gears utilized in applications such as steam and gas turbines, alongside compressors. At present, we are seeking a qualified individual for this client as a Sales Engineer (m/f/d) specializing in the maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical and commercial guidance and support to our international clientele and sales network.
- Manage key accounts and pursue new and follow-up orders in commercial, marine, and governmental vessels, as well as offshore, passenger, and yacht sectors.
- Collaborate closely and serve as an interface with global sales organizations, clients, and internal departments to devise comprehensive system solutions.
- Prepare proposals and system specifications in interdisciplinary coordination with design, development, project management, and cost estimation teams.
- Follow up on proposals until contract finalization and transition to order processing.
- Occasional travel for attending trade exhibitions, client meetings, or engagements with sales partners.
- Completed education in Business Administration, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (e.g., Technical Sales Management, Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding) or equivalent qualifications. Training as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology is also welcomed.
- Strong knowledge in drive and/or gear technology.
- Proficient in both German and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Experience with SAP and proficient in the MS Office suite.
