Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Specialist to join our team at GREEN IT GmbH. As an IT Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services and providing exceptional support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Technical Support**: Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via various channels, including remote support.
  • **Troubleshooting**: Investigate and resolve IT issues, both hardware and software-related, using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • **Customer Service**: Deliver outstanding customer service by professionally and politely handling customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • **Hardware and Software Maintenance**: Perform regular maintenance and updates of hardware, software, and systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of IT support requests, solutions, and system configurations.
  • **User Training**: Conduct user training sessions to enhance the IT knowledge of customers and ensure they use technology effectively.
  • **Security**: Support the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and protocols to protect sensitive data and maintain system integrity.
  • **Collaboration**: Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to identify and implement improvements to IT processes and systems.
  • **Remote Support**: Provide IT remote support to customers as needed.

Requirements

  • **Education**: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent education).
  • **Experience**: Proven experience in IT support and troubleshooting in a professional environment.
  • **Skills**: Knowledge of hardware and software diagnosis and resolution, process-oriented thinking, excellent customer service and communication skills in German and English, knowledge of IT security best practices, familiarity with various operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • **Certifications**: ITIL Foundation certification or higher, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification are an asset.
  • **Personal Qualities**: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
