Systems Support Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Systems Support Specialist to oversee the technological framework of our research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the operational infrastructure of the research unit, including the administration of our Linux-based computing cluster;
- Facilitating the acquisition and setup of new technological equipment;
- Establishing and overseeing user profiles within our systems;
- Serving as the liaison for IT matters between our group and the central IT department.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT system administration is required.
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and MacOS is essential.
- Experience in managing small-scale Linux GPU clusters is advantageous.
- Strong command of English for effective communication with international colleagues and partners.
- A proactive approach to self-directed learning in relation to job requirements.
Compensation
The position offers a salary in accordance with category 11 TV-L, contingent upon meeting professional and personal criteria.
