Lead Network Architect

Your RoleAs a key member of our team, you will contribute to the system engineering of Rivada's satellite constellation. Your role as a Lead Network Architect will involve enhancing our planning and design efforts for the constellation's network. You will ensure the system is primed for future operations while considering the complexities of managing a global communication infrastructure. Additionally, you will assist the system operations preparation team in network-related domains.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Developing IP addressing schemes and MPLS switching strategies
- Implementing various routing protocols
- Creating simulation scenarios utilizing network simulation software
- Conducting troubleshooting through network packet analysis
- Refining and articulating requirements for the system and its subsystems to guarantee the integrity and thoroughness of the requirements
- Collaborating with the network operations preparation team to consolidate operational scenarios
- Designing network flow diagrams for different operational scenarios
- A degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or computer science
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a telecommunications setting
- At least 3 years of experience with MPLS in large network operations
- Proficiency in MPLS L2 and L3 VPNs, LDP, and MPLS Traffic Engineering
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, along with Spanning Tree Protocol
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Proficient in Python programming
- Familiarity with network simulation tools (e.g., Dynamips, GNS3)
- Experience with packet analysis tools
- Basic understanding of mobile networks (LTE and 5G)
- CCNP certification is a plus
- Fluency in English is required
