Department Overview
The Customer Project Execution (CPX) team is responsible for the successful installation, commissioning, and handover of wind energy projects to our clients. Collaboration with customers and stakeholders is essential to ensure these projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The EPC & Balance of Plant (BOP) division within CPX manages the bidding and construction processes for BOP related to wind farms. Key responsibilities include conducting in-house basic engineering for BOP, preparing Requests for Quotations for subcontractors, crafting technical and economic proposals for clients, and providing technical support throughout the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Direct an international team of Project Managers, Specialists, and Engineers, offering mentorship, coaching, and performance assessments.
- Strategic Planning: Establish strategic objectives for BOP construction that align with overall project aims, collaborating with internal teams such as Bid Management, Contract Management, and Procurement.
- Performance Oversight: Manage BOP performance, compliance, and cost monitoring, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource management in partnership with suppliers.
- Contract Negotiation: Facilitate the delivery of BOP sales packages and negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and clients in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout BOP construction, confirming compliance with project specifications.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and address construction-related risks, including potential delays or material shortages.
- Contingency Strategies: Develop plans to manage unforeseen challenges during BOP construction.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in business or engineering is essential.
- Extensive experience in business and management, particularly in complex EPC project environments.
- Demonstrated experience in an international context.
- Proficient in managing intricate contracts.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and lead complex, cross-functional teams effectively.
- Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and engages stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in driving change management initiatives and promoting the adoption of new processes and industry best practices.
