About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainable Finance Associate to join our Second Party Opinion team at Moody's. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the success of our team by providing data analysis and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and update spreadsheets, charts, and tables to identify trends in data and apply reasoning to support analysis and presentations.
  • Analyze sustainability data to perform preliminary analysis and develop working knowledge of our SPO assessment framework and Moody's processes.
  • Prepare presentation materials for outreach activities and support ongoing SPOs through tracking of news and industry sources.
  • Support the analytical administration process and perform other routine administrative and ad hoc tasks as directed by senior team members.
  • Consistently maintain high quality in all results, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Deliver within agreed timeframes and elevate competing priorities to team manager for guidance.
Requirements
  • Master's degree student in a relevant field, or equivalent qualifications, required.
  • Relevant work or internship experience in sustainable finance or financial analysis strongly desired.
  • Professional proficiency in English and German is essential. Additional language is a plus (language commonly used in EMEA, such as Arabic or Dutch).
  • Solid knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills, with ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
