We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon Deals. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and delivering Business Intelligence solutions that drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Business Intelligence Solutions: You will design and develop scalable, automated, and user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards that support the needs of the business.
- Apply Analytic and Business Intelligence Skills: You will apply deep analytic and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights and learning from large and complex data sets.
- Build Data Pipelines and Visualizations: You will build data pipelines using ETL to support automated reporting and create various data visualizations to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will serve as a liaison between the business and technical teams to provide actionable insights into current business performance and support future improvements or innovations.
- Recognize and Adopt Best Practices: You will recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.

Requirements- Experience in Analyzing and Interpreting Data: You should have experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Experience with Data Visualization: You should have experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Experience with Data Modeling and Warehousing: You should have experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience with Statistical Analysis: You should have experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
- Experience with SQL and Scripting: You should have experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
- Experience with Complex SQL Queries: You should have experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience in the Data/BI Space: You should have experience in the data/BI space.
- Experience with AWS Solutions: You should have experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience in Data Mining and ETL: You should have experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
