About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon Deals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering Business Intelligence solutions that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, automated, and user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to support business needs.
  • Apply deep analytical and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights and learning from large and complex data sets.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to build data pipelines supporting automated reporting.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to provide actionable insights into current business performance and support future improvements or innovations.
  • Build various data visualizations to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers.

Requirements
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience in the data/BI space
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
