We, Insurance Consulting & Technology (ICT), are part of the international company WTW with ca. 1.700 employees in the global ICT team, of which around 80 are in Germany in the heart of Cologne. Our Goal - Generate growth from risks

We advise companies in the insurance and financial services industry on financial reporting, risk management, and product, market, and sales strategies, and revolutionize the insurance market by combining proven approaches with new technologies such as machine learning

For this area, we are looking for a Junior Consultant (m/w/d) (Wirtschafts-) Mathematik at our location in Cologne at the earliest possible time.

What can you expect?

  • Combine exciting tasks as a management consultant with your excellent skills as a mathematician:
  • Work with our leading software solutions for financial modeling and create cash flow forecasts and analyses for insurance portfolios for pricing, to analyze and calculate new tariffs through risk analysis and evaluation of the existing portfolio for reserving: Determine actuarial reserves and create reserve reviews under Solvency II and IFRS
  • Get familiar with various programming languages, such as VBA, Python, R, or C# and dive into the world of Big Data
  • Conceptualize and design dashboards for the targeted visualization of your work results
  • Engage in our small and large project teams and network with colleagues in Europe and worldwide
  • Automate actuarial processes along the value chain of actuarial value creation
