Regional IT Operations Manager (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Regional IT Operations Manager to oversee and streamline IT service delivery across multiple countries including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Poland. This pivotal role involves liaising with local stakeholders and managing a diverse team of internal personnel, contractors, and service providers.
Your responsibilities will encompass extensive interaction with business partners, leading various IT service initiatives, and representing Global IT to end users while providing essential support and guidance to the Onsite IT team. We are looking for a proactive and diplomatic leader who is committed to achieving excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, organize, and enhance IT service delivery within the E3 Region, adhering to Global IT standards and processes.
  • Take ownership of the end-user experience regarding IT support and infrastructure in the E3 region.
  • Oversee and manage 2nd level IT support in line with established IT standards and service level agreements.
  • Lead the IT Delivery team, primarily focused on 2nd level IT support across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Poland.
  • Handle local contracts and provider management for all IT services in the E3 region, including coordination with external IT service providers, performance monitoring, and annual IT budget planning.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of global IT projects according to agreed frameworks.
  • Coordinate and collaborate on IT projects and tasks, including change management, end-user communication, and teamwork with other IT Delivery and Global IT teams.
  • Maintain IT compliance through regular monitoring and adjustments of IT processes.
  • Manage IT demand within the region.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a globally oriented IT team.
  • Proven track record of leading an IT support team for at least 2-3 years.
  • University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of IT client infrastructure, including relevant technologies and services, with the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong capacity for learning.
  • Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally.
