Position Title: Automotive Materials Sales Consultant at Hanwha Advanced Materials

This role entails overseeing the sales operations of composite materials on a global scale. The Automotive Materials Sales Consultant is tasked with promoting the company's offerings by leveraging technical expertise, organizational skills, and customer insights to effectively address client needs, thereby driving revenue growth. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to marketing strategies, market analysis, and the technical enhancement of products and services. The role includes coordinating sales efforts by defining sales territories and responsibilities. It is anticipated that the consultant will evaluate sales data collected by the team to assess sales potential and inventory needs while keeping track of customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts, provide technical assistance, and engage in marketing initiatives.
  • Foster customer relationships across the entire value chain.
  • Negotiate agreements with clients in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Identify client requirements and collaborate with the team to fulfill or surpass those expectations.
  • Effectively resolve issues with clients.
  • Build connections within client organizations.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the sales team at headquarters.
  • Experience with German-based passenger vehicle manufacturers is essential.

Administrative Duties:

  • Formulate an annual budget for revenue and newly acquired business.
  • Analyze operational records and reports to forecast sales and assess profitability.
  • Plan for sales exhibitions, attend industry trade shows, and engage in educational and training events.

Sales Forecasting:

  • Enhance and grow sales revenue to achieve designated targets.
  • Engage in sales forecasting and planning by researching, developing, and maintaining both long-term and short-term sales strategies.
  • Set sales objectives and quotas for various regions and territories.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in composite materials within the automotive sector.
  • Experience with commercial clients and diverse materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain client relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures and SAP software.
  • Engineering degree is advantageous.
  • Experience in creating and executing sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in motivational speaking is a plus.
