Product Manager Healthcare Research

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at D4L data4life gGmbH. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in leading efforts in close collaboration with renowned medical and engineering research institutions.
Your primary responsibility will be to apply product management methodologies to enable team members to be the best in supporting world-class research, making data available for its scientific use.
Key Responsibilities- Work with researchers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define work scope, goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to different internal and external partners as well as stakeholders.
- Participate in biannual meetings with international partners and colleagues.
- Adopt processes to improve software engineering productivity and steer the product responsibility of a cross-functional team.
- Work closely with other product managers and their functional development teams to further extend the features of our products.
- Contribute to improving internal procedures and tools.
- Accompany new product and project initiatives with international partners.
- You have completed a degree with focus on research activities (ideally PhD, but also MSc. or MA.), exceptionally also BSc. in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Digital Health, IT Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience working in the healthtech or healthcare industry as well as start-up environments is a big plus.
- Experience with data management in the health domain is important knowledge of data formats such as the OMOP Common Data Model or DICOM).
- You have a collaborative, goal-oriented and attention-to-right-detail mindset, and you are a great communicator.
- You are able to build relationships with our international partners as well as with our diverse, talented team.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in IT-related Product or Project Management is a plus.
- You have strong written and spoken English language skills.
- Availability to travel worldwide up to 5% of the time is required.
