Security Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our global security team, you will be responsible for managing and executing day-to-day operations to ensure the physical safety and security of SAP employees, buildings, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall physical security support and direction to multiple SAP business locations, maintaining a site-by-site overview of budgeting, spend, existing conditions, contact data, and location-specific information.
- Conduct physical building security risk assessments, surveys, and physical penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Manage contract security services, including the development and implementation of Building Security Operations Manuals at all sites.
- Oversee electronic security systems and vendors, ensuring the effective operation of electronic access control, badging, visitor management, security video, intrusion detection systems, and control center operations.
- Execute the planning, design, bid, construction, and commissioning activities for multiple concurrent projects, overseeing all aspects of physical security related to these projects.
- Assess and implement personnel protection programs, including Travel Safety & Security, Events, Personal Protection, and Workplace Violence.
- Liaise with a Security Operations Center and oversee 24/7 activities to ensure the safety and security of SAP employees and assets.
- Provide training and employee security awareness programs to ensure a culture of security within the organization.
- Conduct internal investigations as needed and oversee physical security incident reporting and resolution.
- Partner with SAP Health and Safety programs to ensure emergency responses are established and maintained.
- Report on physical security strategy and metrics (KPIs) to ensure the effectiveness of security operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in the physical security industry or equivalent (military, law enforcement, etc.) or 3 years' minimum experience in corporate physical security.
- 3 years of direct experience in the majority of the key responsibilities above.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- CPP certification preferred.
- Foreign language skills preferred.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
