Role Overview:

We are seeking a Financial Project Manager to join our Finance team, operating from various locations across Germany. In this capacity, you will take on the responsibility of overseeing the financial management of projects within the Real Estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Project Manager, you will manage medium-sized projects within the Real Estate sector after a comprehensive onboarding process, with opportunities to oversee complex large-scale initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating, developing, and maintaining project frameworks, financial assessments, and forecasts
  • Ensuring accurate financial evaluations for monthly and annual reports
  • Identifying potential opportunities and risks in the future performance of project outcomes to communicate with project leaders
  • Actively preparing for and participating in project evaluations
  • Developing, analyzing, and clarifying project-related reports and key performance indicators
  • Providing economic data to the management team, project leaders, and executives regarding respective projects
  • Assisting with financial and commercial inquiries
  • Contributing to the management of our net working capital

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or economics (e.g., controlling, accounting, or industrial engineering) or equivalent commercial training with further qualifications in financial management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial project management within engineering projects, including close collaboration and communication with project managers and engineers.
  • Strong understanding of contractual agreements, including HOAI and VOB, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with PowerBI is a plus.
  • Excellent command of German (minimum C1) and English (minimum C1).
  • A principled, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a high level of abstraction.
  • Well-organized, service-oriented, independent, proactive, and possessing strong communication skills.
