Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of our mobile ad platform, working closely with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable and efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with product leads to plan, implement, and report objectives and key results for the team.
- Identify growth opportunities and lead the hiring process to grow the team as needed.
- Work with the engineering team to implement features for our 70+ microservices in our Go backend.
- Contribute to the improvement of our infrastructure through IaC changes on Terraform.
- Investigate issues by analyzing logs and data.
- 6+ years of experience working on the backend of large-scale production systems built in Go, Java, PHP, Rust, C#, Python, or TypeScript.
- Expertise in Go development, or willingness to learn and ramp up proficiency in Go within a short period of time.
- Proven experience as a team lead or mentor, guiding developers, giving feedback, and directing the technical aspects of products.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, with the ability to identify issues through sifting through application logs and data in SQL-compatible data stores.
- Curious and in-depth understanding of the business, with the ability to use technology to solve problems and enhance business outcomes.
- Technical generalist with mastery in one aspect of development, but also able to jump into any technology or stack as needed.
- Expertise in deploying cloud technologies, with an understanding of the abstractions and underlying systems on which applications run.
