About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Excellence Specialist to join our team at PAUL HARTMANN AG. As a key member of our Procurement Excellence team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Procurement teams across various functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support to Procurement Teams: Provide expert support to Procurement teams across various functions, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective process execution.
  • Process Optimization: Assist in the design and optimization of procurement processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals.
  • Tool and System Administration: Deliver support and administration of tools and systems post-implementation, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Ensure effective training is delivered for both processes and systems, empowering team members to excel in their roles.
  • Project Management: Serve as a key contact for projects within the Procurement Excellence team or when cooperating with other departments, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Supplier Management: Participate in supplier management through data analysis and documentation, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Guide and advise process practitioners to ensure best practices are followed, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate processes and advocate for procurement within the business.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Completed commercial or technical training, or academic studies (Bachelor's degree), with 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Solid understanding of processes and organizational goals, fast learning ability, and good self-reflection. Strong project management skills, with the ability to build and motivate teams.
  • International Experience: Experience working collaboratively across functions and in international environments, with a solution-focused approach to business challenges.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in IT tools (SAP), with an independent and proactive work style, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive when needed.
