Brand Community Advocate

Position Overview:

As a Community Engagement Specialist at Fnatic, you will represent our brand to a diverse audience of fans worldwide, both in digital spaces and real-life events. Your role will focus on fostering a community that nurtures a strong sense of belonging, integrating significant moments across Fnatic's various titles, products, and events to enhance fan experience and attract new supporters.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance community engagement through customized activations, both online and offline.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives, gatherings, and viewing parties in key locations.
  • Establish robust relationships with game developers and tournament organizers to create new opportunities for fan involvement during match days.
  • Develop and nurture the Fnatic Network, our community of grassroots ambassadors.
  • Evaluate the growth of Fnatic Network talent and compile success stories highlighting the development of Creator careers.
  • Manage product distribution for Fnatic Network members.
  • Inform the business about potential opportunities related to the Network, including revenue generation within the Partnerships team.
  • Lead communications regarding Fnatic events and updates to community members through various channels.
  • Encourage sign-ups and usage of Fnatic ID across all marketing initiatives.
  • Continuously improve in-app content and communications, collaborating with moderators and Network talent to promote inclusivity.
  • Work alongside the Marketing team to integrate app-specific initiatives across all marketing efforts, creating exclusive community touchpoints.
  • Track engagement metrics and collaborate with Marketing and Data teams to gain deeper audience insights.
  • Ensure that obligations to community members are met, providing them with insider access to new initiatives.
  • Manage various community engagement projects as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Entry-level experience in marketing within a consumer-focused environment.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide well-founded recommendations.
  • Passion for community building, both online and offline, along with an affinity for digital products.
  • Creative and innovative mindset.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices and regulations.
  • Understanding of youth culture and trends in media consumption.
  • Resourceful approach with the ability to maximize limited resources.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
