TEAM OVERVIEW
The Infused Intelligence team is dedicated to delivering pioneering and user-focused cloud solutions utilizing various AI/ML technologies for our internal clients. Our team members are engaged in developing state-of-the-art AI applications that cater to diverse business areas, including marketing, post-sales, human resources, and finance. The AI lifecycle we engage in encompasses data collection, processing, cleansing, analysis, model training, evaluation, and deployment to SAP environments such as SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP BTP, along with hyperscaler partner offerings, employing MLOps methodologies. Each unique use case provides opportunities for research and development, allowing you to analyze data for new applications and create advanced models that influence our standard business operations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with a team of data scientists, MLOps specialists, and software engineers on machine learning modeling and the deployment of pipelines throughout all development phases: data exploration, model training, optimization, deployment, testing, and monitoring.
- Engage with stakeholders to gain insights into business processes and identify model input data.
- Contribute to a high-profile project alongside seasoned data scientists and AI developers.
- Gain knowledge in data-centric AI development methodologies.
- Utilize a modern cloud infrastructure (SAP BTP, Hyperscaler offerings).
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with at least one additional programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, SQL, Scala).
- Experience with fundamental data science and visualization libraries in Python (e.g., pandas, numpy, seaborn, statsmodels, matplotlib) in notebook-based (e.g., Jupyter) or script-based environments.
- Familiarity with one or more machine learning frameworks (e.g., sklearn, pytorch, tensorflow, keras, MLLib).
- Knowledge of large-scale data analysis using Spark.
- Solid understanding of statistical techniques (descriptive analysis, regression modeling, etc.) and model quality evaluation (custom metrics, validation set creation, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Genuine interest in applying machine learning to address business challenges.
- Experience handling complex tabular data (data preprocessing, addressing data leakage, and imbalanced data issues).
Desirable:
- Experience with model explainability and interpretability techniques (e.g., SHAP, glass-box models).
- Familiarity with Deep Learning architectures (e.g., transformers).
- Knowledge of software version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Git).
- Experience with CI/CD frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse, Gitlab CI/CD).
- Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., mlflow).
- Experience in developing tests for machine learning models.
- Interest in constructing model evaluation pipelines.
