ABOUT OUR TEAM
The Infused Intelligence team is dedicated to developing cutting-edge cloud solutions utilizing various AI and machine learning technologies for our internal stakeholders. Our team is at the forefront of creating innovative AI applications that span multiple business areas, including marketing, post-sales, human resources, and finance. We engage in the entire AI lifecycle, which encompasses data ingestion, processing, cleansing, analysis, model training, evaluation, and deployment across SAP environments and partner offerings, employing MLOps methodologies. Each project presents unique research and development opportunities as we tailor solutions to SAP's specific data and architecture. In this role, you will analyze data for new initiatives and construct advanced models that enhance our standard business operations.
YOUR ROLE
- Collaborate with a team of data scientists, MLOps specialists, and software engineers on machine learning modeling and the deployment of pipelines throughout all development phases: data exploration, model training, fine-tuning, optimization, deployment, testing, and monitoring.
- Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business processes and the data required for modeling.
- Contribute to high-visibility projects alongside seasoned data scientists and AI developers.
- Gain insights into data-centric AI development practices.
- Utilize a modern cloud technology stack (SAP BTP, Hyperscaler offerings).
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with at least one additional programming language (e.g., Java).
- Experience with fundamental data science and visualization libraries in Python (e.g., pandas, numpy, seaborn, statsmodels, matplotlib) in notebook environments (e.g., Jupyter).
- Familiarity with one or more machine learning frameworks (e.g., sklearn, pytorch, tensorflow, keras, MLLib).
- Knowledge of large-scale data analysis using Spark.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods (descriptive analysis, regression modeling) and model quality evaluation (custom metrics, validation set creation).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Genuine interest in applying machine learning to address business challenges.
- Experience working with complex tabular datasets (data preprocessing, addressing data leakage, handling imbalanced datasets).
Preferred:
- Experience with model explainability and interpretability techniques (e.g., SHAP, glass-box models).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Git).
- Experience with CI/CD frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Concourse, Gitlab CI/CD).
- Knowledge of MLOps tools (e.g., mlflow).
- Experience in developing tests for machine learning models.
- Interest in creating model evaluation pipelines.
