About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Student Assistant to support our research and development efforts in the field of hybrid PLC/LiFi communication systems. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature research on PLC/LiFi systems and related technologies
- Perform analytical calculations, mathematical modeling, and simulations to evaluate system performance
- Design and conduct laboratory experiments to assess the feasibility of the envisioned approach
- Measure and analyze system performance using prototypes in realistic scenarios
Requirements
- Enrolled Bachelor's or Master's student in full-time studies in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Practical experience in programming, ideally in MATLAB or Python
- Knowledge of digital signal processing and wireless communication systems, including OFDM and MIMO
- Practical experience in electronics and prototyping, including measurement equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
- Independent work, willingness to learn, and interest in the topic
