As a Senior Product Designer (m/f/x), you will oversee the complete design process, from initial research and discovery to contributions to our design system within one of our key strategic areas. We seek a creative and user-focused Product Designer who possesses a solid grasp of user experience principles to enhance our shopping platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and implement new design solutions, ensuring that your designs are executed effectively while achieving usability and product objectives.
- Enhance user satisfaction by crafting intuitive and visually appealing user experiences and interfaces throughout the entire customer journey on our E-Commerce platform.
- Conduct user interviews and surveys to gain insights into customer needs and challenges, utilizing research data, A/B testing, and analytics for comprehensive evaluation. Continuously develop interactive prototypes to validate design concepts with actual users.
- Create customer journey maps to illustrate customer interactions with our brand and products, maintaining design consistency across all page types.
- Work closely with product managers, software engineers, stakeholders, and fellow product designers within an agile, cross-functional team environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in E-commerce, along with a degree or relevant practical expertise in Design/UX, Industrial Design Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- A robust portfolio showcasing your design and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Figma, with additional knowledge of design and research tools (such as Sketch, Maze, etc.) being advantageous.
- Experience in storyboarding, sketching, wireframing, interactive prototyping, and user testing as integral components of your design process. Familiarity with user research methodologies and conducting qualitative interviews is essential.
- A solid understanding of frontend development to facilitate effective collaboration with developers, along with a history of contributing to design systems in various capacities.
