Position Summary:
- Support the Category Purchasing team in both strategic initiatives and daily operations on a global scale, ensuring effective communication in English.
- Manage contract processes, including the preparation and monitoring of agreements.
- Maintain and analyze raw material pricing data while providing essential support.
- Assist in the preparation of supplier negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in significant supplier meetings to influence strategic decisions.
- Leverage various procurement-specific software tools in conjunction with Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
- Exhibit strong motivation, collaborative skills, and a sense of shared responsibility.
- Show a results-oriented mindset in all tasks.
- Display a keen interest in the automotive sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Capable of independently exploring new topics and challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
