Job Overview

As the Quality Systems Manager at Continental, you will be entrusted with a range of critical responsibilities aimed at enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer satisfaction by implementing and continuously improving a robust Quality Management System (QMS) within the facility.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate standards, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, as well as legal and customer requirements.
  • Oversee the Process-oriented Management System (PoMS) for the plant.
  • Take charge of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
  • Manage the sharing of lessons learned through the Lessons Learned database.
  • Organize and execute both internal and external quality audits.
  • Lead the development and coordination of a pool of trained internal product, process, and system auditors.
  • Promote awareness of customer-specific requirements throughout the organization.
  • Assist various departments in the preparation of Quality Management documentation.
  • Support structured problem-solving initiatives.
  • Provide quality training sessions as required across the plant.
  • Foster long-term relationships within the global QMS community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred) or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive or supply industry, with a focus on quality.
  • Internal Auditor certification in accordance with IATF 16949 / VDA is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC) is preferred.
  • Experience in mixing, calendaring, bladder, and reclaim production is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and external auditors.
  • Proficiency in both German and English is required.
