Student Position in Data Management

KWS Berlin is seeking a Working Student focused on Master Data Management (m/f/d) for our Shared Service Center in Berlin. This position involves assisting the Master Data Management team in the upkeep of master data across various business domains, including materials, vendors, and customers, while ensuring compliance with established standards and governance policies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform data modifications and bulk updates in SAP ERP or S4/HANA, completing assigned tasks within the agreed service level agreements (SLA).
- Conduct regular data cleansing activities to maintain high data quality, compliance, and consistency.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures and training materials, and provide training to end-users.
- Identify, document, and resolve data quality issues through thorough root cause analysis.
- Assist in implementing data management practices that align with KWS business objectives.
- Engage in cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
- Provide support for ad-hoc requests from the Master Data team.
Your Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Data Management; prior experience is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, with advanced skills in MS Excel; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
- Experience with SAP is beneficial.
- A proactive, detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
