Job Summary
Safran Nacelles is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team. As an Aircraft Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various components of our aircraft nacelles.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply paint and coatings to various components of our aircraft nacelles, including primers, base coats, and clear coats.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Operate a variety of painting equipment, including spray guns and air compressors.
- Work in a team environment to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize painting processes and reduce waste.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in painting or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in painting or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Working Conditions
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to paint fumes, noise, and other hazards.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces.
- May be required to work overtime or flexible hours to meet production demands.
