Job Title: Logistics Coordinator and Export Specialist

Nippon Express Europe GmbH is a leading global logistics service provider seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator and Export Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage and process export and import transactions, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The successful candidate will provide proactive assistance and advice to customers regarding their shipping and logistics needs, while also overseeing customs clearance processes and monitoring logistics activities to ensure timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review export and import documents to meet legal and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and process export and import transactions, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations
  • Provide proactive assistance and advice to customers regarding their shipping and logistics needs
  • Oversee customs clearance processes for goods in free circulation and in transit
  • Monitor logistics activities to ensure adherence to established timelines for deliveries
  • Conduct pre-move surveys and provide accurate estimations for potential shipments
  • Issue invoices to customers and overseas branches accurately reflecting services rendered
  • Coordinate material delivery, packing, and pickup for export activities at client locations
  • Manage delivery tasks at client sites, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to service agreements
  • Facilitate effective communication with customers, partners, carriers, and agents both domestically and internationally

Requirements:

  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in Japanese; strong written and spoken proficiency in Japanese, English, and German
  • Proficient in using multiple languages in a work environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong teamwork abilities and team-oriented mindset
  • Physically strong and capable of meeting job demands
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
