Your Role at tonies:
As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our innovative firmware, collaborating with external development partners. Your expertise will help maintain the reliability and user experience of over seven million Tonieboxes globally, ensuring that children everywhere can enjoy our products.Key Responsibilities:
- Define software requirements based on electronic specifications through user stories.
- Design both static and dynamic software architectures for embedded systems.
- Enhance existing software modules and develop new ones.
- Engage in code reviews and perform module and integration testing.
- Diagnose operational issues and translate them into actionable development requirements.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development within the IoT sector, preferably with Zephyr.
- Proficient in Jira and Git, along with experience in SDK, TDD, and API.
- Skilled in hardware testing using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
- Enjoy working in an agile environment and collaborating across diverse teams.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
