Your Responsibilities
- Develop and lead Uniper's strategic fundamental long-term power market outlook for Europe, providing valuable insights to drive business growth.
- Orchestrate the development of European long-term power market modeling and scenarios out to 2050, collaborating with analysts to create a comprehensive understanding of the market.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across multiple teams and locations, ensuring alignment on market situations and driving stakeholder engagement.
- Identify, evaluate, and challenge input assumptions for market models and tools, incorporating new technologies like hydrogen to stay ahead of the curve.
- Coordinate the administration, development, and licensing of power models, ensuring seamless integration and data-driven decision making.
- Provide wholesale fundamental outlooks and scenarios as input to project evaluations and investment decisions, driving business growth through data-driven insights.
Your Profile
- Hold an excellent education in engineering, economics, business administration, mathematics, or a similar field.
- Bring at least 5-7 years of professional experience in energy markets and trading environments, with a proven track record of analytical and numerical skills.
- Have in-depth knowledge of European power market fundamentals, drivers, relationships, and their related fundamental modeling.
- Be proficient in modeling power markets, with strong IT affinity and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer analysts, traders, and optimizers across multiple teams and locations.
- Fluently speak and write English, with additional languages like German being beneficial.
