Your Responsibilities

• Select and evaluate suppliers
• Coordinate technical solutions with the specialist departments (construction, production) and suppliers
• Maintain long-term relationships with our suppliers
• Negotiate purchase prices, framework agreements, delivery conditions, and delivery dates
• Process and monitor order transactions, mainly for electrical components
• Monitor all procurement positions and ensure delivery dates
• Coordinate the procurement of supplier documentation
• Process changes to product ranges and prices
• Point of contact for suppliers

Your Profile

• Completed successful training, possibly with a technical further education, a comparable qualification, or a lateral entrant (m/f/d) from the practical field
• Several years of experience in technical purchasing, ideally in the machine and plant construction industry
• High technical affinity
• Sovereign appearance and engaged working style, combined with well-developed negotiation skills
• Interdisciplinary thinking and well-developed communication and organizational skills
• Team ability, flexibility, and resilience
• Strong quality and cost awareness
• Proficient use of MS Office and safe use of ERP systems, ideally with SAP R/3
• Good German and English language skills
