Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing large, complex, and challenging IT infrastructure projects and innovative projects in the datacenter and cloud environment
- Computing (e.g. relocation/building of a data center, building complex outsourcing architectures, software development projects)
- Describing and specifying projects after receipt of orders
- Planning projects, including resource planning, milestone planning, stakeholder analysis, and project structure plans
- Coordinating and implementing projects in a process-oriented manner, as well as steering performance-providing organizations and proactively ensuring the achievement of all project goals in terms of time, quality, and scope
- Customer communication at the C-level during project execution, as well as handling escalations
- Conducting risk, time, cost, payment, claim, and opportunity management
- Conducting projects using classical methods as well as agile methods, such as Scrum
- Implementing the deployment plan, steering, and professional leadership of the project team from contract conclusion to operational readiness to service management
- Proactively participating in the improvement of internal team tasks such as process improvements, controlling, and mentoring
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A successful technical/business education or degree (e.g. computer science or business administration) or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
- Several years of experience as a project manager for complex projects and software projects
- Several years of experience in professionally leading teams as a project manager
- Excellent knowledge of project management methods and standards
- Desirable: certification in the PMI standard as well as certification as a Scrum Master
- Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution skills, and self-initiative
- High analytical-conceptual skills and creativity with a sense of individual customer needs
- Excellent experience with ticket systems, Jira, and MS Office
- Excellent German and good English skills in writing and speaking
