Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) stands as one of the key business divisions within Corporate Banking, serving clients worldwide. This department relies heavily on its IT infrastructure to effectively support the Bank's clientele. The team is currently engaged in a technological overhaul of their IT systems to introduce new services for customers and enhance business process automation.
The in-house IT team has already achieved significant milestones in designing, developing, and deploying its strategic platform for the TF&L sector. Building on this success, there is a strong ambition to advance our strategic architecture further.
We are seeking a Technical Writer to collaborate with our development team and produce high-quality documentation for our platform. Your responsibilities will include crafting user manuals, API documentation, and other technical materials that assist our clients and technology partners in effectively utilizing our software.
To excel in this position, you should possess a solid background in technical writing, coupled with a robust understanding of technology. You will work closely with developers, testers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather insights and feedback. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently is essential. A quick learning ability, collaborative mindset, and an Agile approach are vital components of the ongoing transformation within the leading Trade Finance institution in Europe and globally.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Create clear and concise technical documentation for our Java-based products, including user manuals for business users and API reference guides for technical teams.
- Review and enhance existing documentation for consistency, clarity, and quality.
- Establish a systematic approach to manage technical and user documentation across various applications.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
- Engage in user feedback sessions and expert consultations, proposing enhancements to the knowledge base.
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Writer within the software industry.
- Capability to simplify complex technical concepts for a broader audience.
- Exceptional writing and communication abilities.
- Practical experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and Markdown.
- Familiarity with common design patterns and technologies.
This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities.
