Job Summary:
Newmark is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from initiation to close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables
- Appoint and manage third-party suppliers to complete projects in accordance with sourcing processes and procedures
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Conduct thorough project evaluations and cost control to assess and identify contractor pay requests, value engineering, and timely delivery
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative, safe, and high-performance work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project/Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management with a track record of successfully delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Strong safety compliance skills and knowledge of technical documents, building codes, and safety regulations
- Native German and fluent English with strong writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Office tools
- Strong drive for leadership and communication to manage teams and stakeholders to drive successful projects
