At NavVis, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way we interact with the physical and digital worlds. As a Technical Manager/Team Lead, you'll play a critical role in driving our pioneering browser-based 3D application that produces high-quality photorealistic digital twins.

About the Opportunity

You'll lead a team of 7 engineers, embedded in our IVION development department, and be responsible for managing execution and performance, keeping the team motivated, and ensuring their growth through mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive engineering efficiency and operational excellence within your team
  • Ensure the team's success by implementing the right processes, facilitating efficient communication, and partnering with key stakeholders
  • Set correct priorities and take full ownership of the team's efficient execution of initiatives
  • Foster an engineering culture of trust, ownership, and collaboration within the team and NavVis

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., computer science, engineering, sciences)
  • Significant software engineering experience (6+ years) with extensive hands-on development experience (Java and ideally TypeScript, C++)
  • Previous experience (2-3 years) leading high-performing engineering teams in the successful delivery of complex software projects
  • Experience in hiring and building diverse engineering teams, attracting top talent, and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
