Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fabric Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Senior Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the fabric of commercial buildings, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for occupants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, decorating, and basic lighting repairs.
  • Fix and install furniture, hang pictures and shelves, and maintain log books.
  • Assist the maintenance team on site and arrange sub-contractors as needed.
  • Organize quotes and liaise with the team to ensure work is completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Undertake basic fabric duties, including touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, and making minor repairs to cabinets and desks.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building maintenance and a solid understanding of building fabric duties.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Health and safety experience and basic PC literacy.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritize workload.
