Financial Product Controller

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial operations, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and scrutinize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and oversee annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget execution and deliver variance analysis.
- Propose corrective measures to meet financial objectives.
- Oversee financial components of the product lifecycle, including cost evaluations, pricing strategies, and profitability assessments in partnership with the product division.
- Assess and enhance the financial performance of technical initiatives.
- Provide financial insights to bolster brand marketing efforts and suggest enhancements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks effectively.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.
- Recognize trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency enhancements.
Your Qualifications:
- Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or industrial engineering.
- Financial acumen and experience in controlling or engineering roles, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting methodologies.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), with advanced Excel capabilities and experience in data analysis tools.
- A resilient, team-oriented professional who empowers business partners through extensive expertise in product finance.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and precision.
- Experience in a manufacturing or technology-oriented setting.
- Familiarity with cost accounting and inventory management practices.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
