Creative Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Lead to join our Global Brand Team in Berlin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing the creative potential of our global design team and contributing to the growth of our 6 brands across 18 markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement design systems within the Creative Studio Team, translating high-level concepts into actionable work and creative guidelines.
- Direct the design execution across print, illustration, digital, photo, and video, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
- Oversee the implementation of the brand CI across all touchpoints, producing core brand design assets and providing regular guidelines and feedback to the in-house creative team.
- Build and oversee specialist style guides for the department, ensuring alignment with overall brand look and feel based on CI Guidelines.
- Drive innovation in styles and build design systems scalable across markets, collaborating with internal teams and departments as well as external agencies within an agile development environment.
- Manage a team of designers, ensuring alignment of activities with brand strategy and values, and championing continuous creative improvement efforts within the team.
- Senior professional with 7+ years' experience in creative leadership, with agency experience being a significant plus.
- A strong portfolio of award-winning work (both ATL and BTL) showcasing expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, and experience with Firefly and Midjourney.
- Ability to forecast and plan creative resources grounded in data, connect creative execution to business strategy, and manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Understanding of testing setups and optimization, with a performance-oriented mindset and collaborative personality.
- Experience in leading and developing a high-performing Design team, with ability to set and maintain processes and structures, and comfortable in communication and negotiation with Executive Stakeholders.
- Experience with JIRA or other project management systems, and conceptual thinking.
