Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified part-time instructor to teach construction and advanced manufacturing courses at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or construction, with experience in teaching and developing curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Teach construction and advanced manufacturing courses to students
  • Develop and update curriculum to meet industry standards
  • Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training
  • Assist with program recruiting and outreach
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing or construction
  • ISO experience preferred
  • OSHA training preferred
  • Proficient in CAD software
  • Material of construction/equipment specification/material procurement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting. The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with students and colleagues is essential.
