Construction Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction/Adv Manufacturing Part-time Instructor to join our team at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, developing, and updating construction and advanced manufacturing courses, as well as instructing students on applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach construction and advanced manufacturing courses
• Develop and update course materials
• Instruct students on health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Assist with program recruiting

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing or construction
• ISO experience preferred
• OSHA training preferred

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift, push, and pull materials as needed. The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with students and colleagues is essential.
