System Engineer for Eurofighter Radar Test Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team at HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH in the Eurofighter Radar department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex test systems for Eurofighter radars within multinational projects.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Radar Environmental Simulators for Eurofighter projects
  • Create system requirements, architecture, verification, and integration plans
  • Lead a team of system and software developers to achieve project goals
  • Collaborate with our partner Leonardo UK in Edinburgh to ensure project success
  • Plan and coordinate development activities to meet project deadlines
  • Represent the development team and communicate project progress to stakeholders
  • Coordinate project documentation and ensure compliance with company standards

Travel may be required for analysis, integration, and technical support.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in Requirements Engineering and knowledge of DOORS
  • Understanding of radar systems and Eurofighter weapon systems
  • Proficiency in Matlab or Python programming languages
  • Knowledge of system and software engineering processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership qualities for managing a team
  • Excellent German and English language skills
